Press Release

Pamida customers can now order, edit and share photos online thanks to partnership with LifePics and Qualex

Service provides access to more than 1,000 new photo imaging products from the convenience of home.

Boulder, CO, April 2, 2007

Pamida announced today that it is now offering consumers the ability to send digital photos from home via the Internet and have them printed for pick up at 187 Pamida stores or mailed to their residence. This new service was created with LifePics and Qualex, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kodak. LifePics will provide the online solution while Qualex will perform wholesale photofinishing services for Pamida.

"Pamida has been proud to provide top-quality photo finishing services to our customers for many years," says Tracy Roloff, photo buyer for Pamida. "Recently consumers have been asking us for a convenient way to send us their digital print orders from home. We investigated to find the best possible solution, and found it through a partnership with Qualex and LifePics. We are now able to offer our customers the highest quality prints and customizable products at a great value, through a world-class web interface."

"Using our Internet routing systems, we will be offering Pamida´s customers a wide range of fun and creative products," said Vahe Christianian, V.P. of Sales and Business Development at LifePics. "They will be able to order regular photo prints or choose from creative borders, magazine covers, photo books, photo calendars, holiday cards, photo gifts, and much more. At launch we will have roughly a thousand products for consumers to choose from and we expect that list to grow rapidly during the rollout."

Christianian continued, "Customers are looking for one hour service and the convenience and customer service that comes with local in-store pickup. Ordering online and printing at retail has seen the largest percentage growth last year and is anticipated to grow at even a faster pace over the next few years. LifePics has the largest network of retailers in North America so most Windows Vista users in the United States and Canada should be able to find a retailer near them."
