LifePics today announced that users of
LifeSync placed twice as many orders after installing the software. LifeSync,
a software application developed by LifePics in 2008, automatically copies and uploads
all of a user's images from their PC to their online photo account.
"LifeSync eliminates the biggest pain point of online imaging: manually uploading
your pictures," said Ken McDonald, Vice President of Marketing at LifePics.
"We knew that eradicating the manual upload procedure would make ordering through
our online network easier for consumers, but the 2x increase surprised even us!
We are proud to offer such a powerful revenue stream to our photo retail partners,
especially in today's economy."
LifeSync users can install the software via Web download or CD/media device. Every
image stored on the user's PC is automatically copied and uploaded to their online
photo account. Synchronizing occurs overnight, every night, so when a user adds
new photos to their PC or makes changes to their picture folders, their online photo
account is updated accordingly. Users can also restore images back to their PC in
case of hard drive failure, natural disaster, computer theft, viruses, or accidental
deletions from the PC.
LifeSync is available to all retailers that use the
LifePics online imaging services.
LifePics is the market leader in driving digital photo orders to photofinishers
