Navarro Discount Pharmacies today announced that it has entered the online photofinishing
business by using the LifePics online solution for retail photofinishers. Navarro
will use the LifePics system to allow consumers to order from home and pick up the
prints that same day at any of Navarro's twenty stores. The prints will be produced
on-site using state-of-the-art Noritsu and Fuji photofinishing labs. LifePics' LabCenter
software will drive and automate the fulfillment process at every location. Consumers
will also be able to order holiday cards, photo gifts, magazine covers, and a variety
of other products online facilitated by LifePics multiple wholesale marketplace
offerings.
"Ordering from home and picking up at the store has become a large component
of the photofinishing market so it was critical for us to have the best solution
available," stated Gabe Navarro, Vice President of Navarro Discount Pharmacies.
"The LifePics platform supports our goal of driving online orders from home
into the stores where we can print them on the highest quality photofinishing labs
available. Because we have a mix of different photofinishing equipment, we really
needed LifePics' open platform."
"Navarro has a great presence in the Miami area," said Vahe Christianian.
"They are a very technologically sophisticated company, and we are thrilled
to help them grow their online photofinishing business."

independent photofinishers. These retailers offer the service at more than 3,500

help them build their online photo businesses.
LifePics is an open solution that works with a variety of photo software providers
