LifePics announced today its innovative new technology that allows retailers to customize their online photo gift solution by activating or deactivating over 800 photo gift products manufactured by a diverse group of companies that work with LifePics. Retailers have complete control over which products they offer consumers, providing relief from the recent price pressure on 4x6" prints.
Using the new technology LifePics offers, retailers can enable or disable any of the gift provider companies and their corresponding products. In addition, retailers can activate or deactivate any specific product offered by any company and set the pricing for each product.
The creative products range from traditional photo gifts to canvas portraits, photo enhancements, customized videos, household items, jewelry, chocolates, and many more. LifePics' clients now have the broadest, most flexible plan available throughout the online digital imaging industry, and are able to customize the plan to best fit their business needs.
"It was obvious from the get-go that LifePics is a big believer in these gift providers and the unique products they've developed," said Timothy Beckes, Category Manager-Photo at Giant Eagle. "The solution is incredibly convenient - we decide which products work best for our business, and then we just turn off the products we don't want to include on our site. Our customers are very happy with the wide range of photo gifts available to them from one central location, and we are thrilled with the level of flexibility and control over what we choose to offer."
Some of the companies LifePics works with to provide its photo gift solution include:
In addition to the products supplied by the eleven companies listed above, LifePics enables its clients to produce customized products in-house, as well as grants access to additional products provided by other companies that work with LifePics. The number of available products and gift providers will continue to increase over time, exemplifying a true marketplace of fun and profitable photo-related products.
An example of the administrative screen used to enable or disable the above companies and their products is shown below. The checkboxes are used to activate or deactivate companies and/or products.
