LifePics announced the addition of Rick Patch as the new President and CEO and Ken McDonald as Vice President of Marketing and Operations. Founder and previous President Vahe Christianian will continue to serve on LifePics' board of directors and as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Rick Patch is a pioneering software executive and entrepreneur with 25 years experience in information technology and in building early-stage companies. Rick was a founding member and former President of Micro Decisionware Inc., a successful VC-backed company that was ultimately sold to Sybase Inc. Rick was also a founding partner at Sequel Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with over $400 million in assets. As part of Sequel, Rick invested in and built numerous successful Internet companies including MatchLogic (acquired by Excite), Dante (acquired by WebMethods), Service Magic (acquired by IAC), and Bid4Vacations (acquired by I.C.E.).
Ken McDonald has worked in the software industry since the mid 1980s in a variety of capacities. He spent 5 years in marketing positions at Oracle and helped drive Oracle's e-commerce initiatives. He also spent 3 years at Sequel Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, making investments in software companies.
